This season, Organic Zoo invites us to slow down.
Inspired by the Italian philosophy il dolce far niente—the sweetness of doing nothing—the Summer Farniente collection captures the quiet joy of simply being. It's about daydreaming in the garden, barefoot walks on warm pavement, and the kind of creative play that turns a stick into a wand or a lemonade stand into a palace.
Thoughtfully designed for unhurried days, this collection is a wearable ode to summer: shell collecting, kite flying, cloud watching, and always saying yes to ice cream.
Why Mario and I Love This Collection
Organic Zoo’s commitment to sustainability, organic fabrics, and thoughtful unisex design is why I love them. But this collection feels especially close to home. It reminds me of soft August breezes and sandy toes, of puppet shows and paper crafts—how quickly tiny hands become butterflies or fish or some fantastic, made-up creature.
I also loved the hand-cut paper visuals in the campaign—each piece builds a dreamy little world where cardboard fish swim through painted streams and kites dance in the breeze. It’s playful and imaginative, but also grounding—a gentle reminder to slow down, roam the neighborhood, fall down and get back up.
