Last weekend our family headed to the Russian River Valley, celebrating my husband's Father's Day and early birthday at a Healdsburg hotel. For Mario, the perfect weather meant swimming, swimming, and more swimming - a toddler's dream!

Saturday night, with Mario happily settled with a sitter, we enjoyed Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery's "Table for Twelve" wine pairing dinner. The rest of our weekend centered around SHED, our new favorite Healdsburg spot - a market, cafe, and community space that brings us closer to food's journey from growth to table.

Between World Cup matches and pool time (Mario's vacation must-have), we found that perfect balance of family time and relaxation.
