Kiss Me, I'm Wearing Green: On Trend Kids Green Picks for St. Patrick's Day

Kiss Me, I'm Wearing Green: On Trend Kids Green Picks for St. Patrick's Day

I love any excuse to dress up, decorate, or give gifts. With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, I’m thinking green, shamrocks, luck of the Irish, leprechauns, rainbows, pots of gold, parades, funny hats, and beer! I also fondly recall the St. Patrick's Day I spent in Ireland while studying abroad during my sophomore year of college. Though I’m not Irish, that experience made me feel a special connection to the holiday, and I can’t resist wearing green to celebrate.

I love finding cute green clothes and accessories that extend beyond St. Patrick’s Day into the spring season. This holiday is the perfect excuse to add a fun new trend to your wardrobe, and lucky for us, green (especially mint) is trending this spring!

For Boys, I’m all about statement graphics, and this “One Lucky Dude” shirt is a great pick your son can wear beyond St. Patrick’s Day. I also love the trend of character baseball caps, comfy sneakers, and rope bracelets in green—paired with, of course, patched jeans. Add a shamrock temporary tattoo for an easy, festive touch!

For Girls, I’m loving sequin tees, as sparkle and metallics are big for spring (I’ll dive more into that trend in a future post). I’m also into charm necklaces with lucky charms, pretty hair accessories, and green wedge sneakers—again, with patched jeans. For a touch of good luck, a rainbow temporary tattoo adds a cool and pretty St. Patrick’s Day flair!
