Isn't She Charming? Charm Necklace Trend for Little Ones

I love my charm necklaces—so much so that I layer on four at a time! One disk with my son’s name, photos of my husband and me from childhood, a heart locket with my cats, and my son's photo. Layering necklaces has been one of my favorite trends for a while, and it’s going to be big this spring. The trend calls for stacking up dainty gold and/or silver jewelry. Each piece can be delicate and minimal on its own, but when layered together, they make the perfect statement.

This trend is one that little girls will adore. They can wear a single delicate charm necklace that reflects who they are or pile on a few to express their many interests and loves. My favorites are hearts, lockets, initials, and disks with names or meaningful illustrations. There are so many beautiful charm necklaces made for little girls right now—below are a few of my top picks.

J.Crew has a great collection of Girls Jewelry right now, they are always on top of the current trends. They have some simple delicate and minimal necklaces, perfect for layering, or would be just as sweet worn alone. I love their hearts, initials, and simple heart locket the most.

This Piece of my Heart Necklace from Swoon Studios is the most beautiful mother/ daughter necklace I have come across. It is an ideal symbol of remembrance and love. The Mother wears the sterling disc with cut out heart necklace, and the Daughter wears the teensy heart necklace (additional heart necklaces can be added if you have more than one daughter). This is just too cute-- I am Swooning again!
